Community Giving

CompSource Mutual has a long tradition of giving back to the communities in which we live and work. Each year employees go above and beyond to help Oklahomans in need and be "Champions of the Community." Whether it’s through partnering with the United Way or providing opportunities for employees to positively impact the community; CompSource Mutual cares. Our employees generously give their time and resources to the initiatives listed below:

One of CompSource Mutual's guiding principles is Community Giving and the company encourages employees to volunteer their time, talent and resources to charitable organizations. By providing paid time off to volunteer, the company is doing more than just saying volunteerism is important they are providing employees with the time to create a lasting impact in the communities in which we live and work.

United Way Campaign

During the 2017 United Way Campaign CompSource Mutual pledged approximately $90,000. A variety of fun and competitive fundraising activities took place during the employee campaign. Funds raised benefit partner agencies associated with the Tulsa Area United Way and United Way of Central Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Standard Campaign

During the month of April, CompSource Mutual employees recognize the anniversary of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing by taking part in the Oklahoma Standard Campaign. The Oklahoma Standard Campaign encourages acts of kindness, service and honor to be performed in honor and memory of those impacted by the tragic events of April 19, 1995. CompSource Mutual employees donated blood, visited the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum and collected blankets and towels for the Humane Societies of Central Oklahoma and Tulsa along with other individual acts that were important to them personally.

Jeans Day Charities

Employees can wear jeans on Fridays for a $1 donation which is used to make a donation to one of four charities selected by CompSource Mutual employees. Through our 2015 Jeans Day donations, employees raised more than $8,200 that was divided equally between four charities.

Blood Drives

Each quarter, CompSource Mutual offers employees the opportunity to make life-saving blood donations by partnering with the Oklahoma Blood Institute for an onsite blood drive.

As a leader in the industry, CompSource Mutual is committed to making a positive impact on the people of Oklahoma. Being a corporate sponsor provides the opportunity to partner with other organizations that value investing time, talent and resources into making a positive impact in our communities.
